Welcome back to Team Tala Travels! In this article, we will talk about our visit to one of the beautiful parks in London — the Regent’s Park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regent’s Park is considered as one of the 8 Royal Parks in London, meaning that this used to be one of the parks where the Royal Family went to for leisure and recreation! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regent’s Park<\/a> is home to many tourist spots, such as the London Zoo, the Open Air Theatre, Queen Mary’s Gardens, and the Boating Lake. We would have loved to go to these attractions, but we did not have enough time to explore all. Plus, the Regent’s Park is huge – with 410 acres in all! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As such, we only explored the Boating Lake, which is a beautiful spot for relaxation and being one with nature. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We entered through the York Gate, which is the gate closest to Marylebone Station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This park is home to many ducks wandering around the area. They are so cute and harmless! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just be cautious about their poop. Because these ducks are free to walk around, their poop is also literally everywhere. Watch where you’re going or step on their poop!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boating Lake<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the main attractions is their boat ride. There are many boats that you can rent either for 30 minutes or 60 minutes per ride. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boating lake is open on weekdays from 11 am to 7pm and on weekends from 10 am to 7 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are planning to ride a boat, it would be cheaper to go on their off-peak hours, which is 11am to 1 pm on weekdays, and 10 am to 12 noon on weekends. You can save 4 pounds per adult or 10 pounds per ride if you are going as a family of 5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kids 1 to 2 years old can ride for free, and babies less than 1 are not allowed on the boat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students and senior citizens aged 65 and above can avail of discounted prices! Just present a valid ID at the counter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can book boat rides in advance via their website. You can also pay on the day bookings subject to boat availability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
